Health insurance – memberships – fees and T&Cs

  • Prices

    For patients with the relevant additional insurance cover, their health insurance provider will cover part of the fees for our consultations and treatments.

    Please check with your health insurance provider in advance whether your additional cover includes cover for the treatment method in question.

    Initial consultations take between 75–90 minutes.

    They including taking a detailed medical history as well as a treatment or consultation of approx. 45–60 minutes.Any information exchanged during the consultations will be kept strictly confidential.

  • Means of payment

    The fees for a consultation are generally payable in cash at the end of the treatment.

    Multiple appointments booked in advance are payable in advance or with a deposit slip within 10 days.You can also pay by credit or debit card (Maestro, Mastercard, Visa and American Express).

    Every invoice will be provided with a reclaim slip for your insurance provider.


  • Fees

    In accordance with Tariff 590 for complementary medicine, the consultations and treatments are charged in five-minute intervals.

    Our standard fee for five minutes is CHF 12.50, which means that the fee for a 60 minute session is CHF 150.

    The five-minute fee for Sunday and Bank Holiday consultations is

    CHF 13.50, which means that the fee for a

    60 minute session is CHF 162.

    The above fees apply to consultations provided in our practice, telephone consultations and advice, as well as for the examination of case files performed without a patient present.

    Tests and diagnostic procedures are charged separately.


  • Appointment cancellations

    All appointment bookings are binding.

    Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance of the agreed time.

    Missed appointments and appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice are charged at the full price for the agreed treatment.

  • Recognition and memberships in professional associations

    The EMR and ASCA are the professional bodies that act as intermediaries between complementary medicine practitioners and the health insurance providers.

    Their primary role is to monitor and supervise the training and quality standards of complementary medicine service providers.

    I am a member of the EMR, EGK, ASCA and NVS.

    In most cases, the costs for a consultation will be reimbursed by your insurance provider regardless of whether you have a referral or not.

    The NVS is the largest complementary and alternative medicine association in Switzerland and has approx. 3000 members.
