Medical history, physical examination and diagnostic assessment

In order to get a comprehensive understanding of a person’s health, I not only ask them for detailed information about their medical history, but also perform a thorough physical examination.
This examination may involve a number of different tests depending on their current health issues.
- Visual examinations, i.e. inspections and observations, for example for skin conditions.
 - Palpation, i.e. checking the body with my hands, for example for issues concerning internal organs.
 - Percussion, i.e. tapping the body with my fingers.
 - Listening with a stethoscope, for example to the lungs.
 - Functional tests, for example testing individual joints or measuring blood pressure.

In addition to these general examination techniques,iridology/eye examination, tongue and ear reflex zone examinations have also proven highly effective in natural medicine.
